The name says it all, in our fundamentals program is where you learn the core principles of “The Gentle Art” (meaning of Jiu-Jitsu). Class structure is formed around a warm-up, techniques and partner drilling in a non-pressured, fun environment that enables students to develop their skills.

Blue Belt Program

This is the next step. Here the students will continue to perfect techniques from our Core program while incorporating more advanced ones.
Adding drills that will help develop smooth transitions of positions, this program will bring your game to the next level and increase the bond between training partners. It will also give you great understanding about the Jiu-Jitsu philosophy which includes a healthy lifestyle and respect for others.


Black Belt Program

This is the program for versed Jiu-Jitsu practitioners. Here you will learn and spar with experienced students and teachers at the same safe, fun and team spirited environment.


KIDS – Lion Cubs Program

5-8 years old

*Some exceptions of 4 years old. Determined on case by case.

It’s never too early to start Jiu-Jitsu in Old Bridge. Here at the Rolles Gracie Academy we designed the Lion Cubs program to help children develop motor skills, increase awareness and build confidence through a series of drills, techniques and games in a fun safe environment.


KIDS – Young Lions Program

9-12 years old

Bullying is an epidemic in the United States. Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year where 90% of 4th through 8th graders report being victims of it and approximately 160,000 teens skip school every day to avoid being bullied. In the Young Lions program we’ll continue to focus on building your child’s confidence and assertiveness to deal with bullies in a way. We teach our young lions to defuse confrontations with words and never to initiate physical aggression, differently from traditional martial arts that rely on striking (violent punches, kicks, knees, and elbows blows) to stop the attacker. In case of a physical attack, the lions will be equipped with If techniques to non-violently neutralize the threat and gain control.
