Biography
My name is Coach Cleo, and I am a second-degree brown belt with 15 years of experience training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. My Jiu-Jitsu journey began while I was living in Abu Dhabi and looking for an activity to get involved in. My husband, Professor Raullen, encouraged me to give Jiu-Jitsu a try, and after seeing how much it had positively changed the lives of so many people, I decided to take the leap and start training. Since then, Jiu-Jitsu has become a huge part of my life. It has given me the opportunity to train around the world, meet people from so many different backgrounds, and build connections with others through a shared love for the sport. Teaching is especially important to me because I had the opportunity to train and work with many women in Abu Dhabi and saw firsthand how Jiu-Jitsu could positively impact their confidence, strength, and overall lives. Now, being able to see that same impact on people from all around the world is incredibly meaningful to me. I love being able to share what I have learned, especially with other women, and help people discover their own strength and confidence through Jiu-Jitsu.
